Hey everyone,
i have a 2014 Sport that has a blown out rear sunroof/panoramic glass from a hail storm. What was left of the orignal has been removed and I have the replacement. I was hoping it was a simple install, but the is no way from the top to get the piece in place and bolted back in. How do I install it? Do I have to drop the headliner? Drop the whole sunroof assembly? If anyone has done this, I sure would appreciate some direction.

I have never done this, but if you are saying it bolts in the headliner would need to be removed.

Try searching on Youtube for videos about the sunroof removal/installation.

I did the work back in November. Yes, the headliner has to come down, which requires pulling some of the plastic trim. Not difficult, but tedious and time consuming. Replacing the glass itself wasn't too difficult, but a second set of hands sure helps.

As a bonus, dropping the headliner also allowed me to vacuum out a ton of glass pieces around the sunroof assembly and on top of the headliner.
