Does anybody have a diagram showing all the locations of the hangers/clamps for the parking brake cable on a 2003 Sport Trac? I am having a problem with getting the "E" Brake to hold enough to pass inspection .Ive already replaced the shoes and adjusted them and replaced one part of the cable and it still doesn't hold enough and the only thing else I can think of is that the cable jacket isn't being held still enough for the cable to pull as far as it should .

I could take pictures of my 03. Is there one specific cable? Front, Intermediate, left rear right rear?

The diagrams are hard to see where the lines are held stationary to the frame. I am particularly talking about where the front cable attaches to the two rear cables and further back.

That is exactly what I needed to see. Thank You so much.I am missing the Spring and the black piece that couples the two lines together. Hopefully that will correct my problem. Mass. State laws say it should hold at 1200 rpm and mine starts to roll around 1000 to 1100.

I have mine torn apart as the left rear cable was rubbing against the frame so the park brake cable wouldn't release and burnt up the park brakes. Waiting on new left rear cable to repair.

Glad cyclonebax could get you photos you could see. :thumbsup:The service manuals diagrams are all I have on your cable setup. Mine is a 2002 with drum brakes and the cable arrangement is different.

Thank you all for the help given .I have located parts needed and installed .Parking brakes are now holding to 1300 rpm . Tomorrow i'll take her to get a new sticker
