Parts available and a quick question

I have a 2002 XLS that I'm in the process of rebuilding from a wreck... Truck vs. pole in the passenger headlight area, pole wins everytime!

Where is the RCM (airbag) module located?? I have a 2002 parts truck that I want to swap the module from. According to alldata it is supposed to be in the center console area, but where??

Also, if anyone is in need of parts for their 02-05, I have a complete parts truck what a blown up 4.0 that i'm going to be pulling my parts off of.

You have to take the floor console up to get to the RCM. What's the build dates of your parts Explorer and the one you're rebuilding? 2002 early build is not compatible with 2002 late build modules - any of them I think.

what trim is the parts truck? xls, xlt?

Donor build date is 01/02 and my rebuilder is 05/01.

The donor truck is an XLS model with grey interior.
