Has anyone used rockauto for parts i need front end parts and live in australia and the cheapest parts are from rockauto over there
over here i would pay at least 3-4 times as much
So my question is are the parts they supply a direct replacement because i dont want to order the parts and pay delivery and have them not fit
Cheers

They are like any other supplier of parts. Though they seem to offer some OE. How they get their parts is questionable. That is, a lot of suppliers claim not to do business with them.

Key with them is to order as much as possible from one location (to save on freight.) Only big issue I see, is returns. You'll find negative comments there. They operate on a 10% net as in understand, which means they don't have a lot of room for expenses (Ie warranties and returns..)

They sell a lot of brands I'm not familiar with, so either stick to known brands or research the odd ones. Cheap parts are cheap for a reason, so compare some of the other retailers prices when in question.

I just replaced the Strut assemblies on my '02. I made two separate orders from Rockauto several weeks apart, I also ordered Filters and wipers on the second order. all came as expected. I did get Ranchos for the added lift, so I got name brand.

I have ordered from them for at least 5 years now. The only problem I had was a side mirror came broken, they shipped another one out the same day I called them. One thing I like is they do list the part's brand and manufacturer instead of re-branding them.

I've used them for most of my major purchases where the freight didn't kill me. Never had a problem with getting what I ordered. Just be sure you know exactly what you need before ordering. I use the local stores for heavy things like rotors, etc. Usually works out cheaper than RA after shipping.

I've used them for the past couple years as well; never had an issue. The key to ordering from them - as previously mentioned - is to know exactly what you need.

As far as brands go, it is a mixed bag that's available. They've got some bigger names, even Motorcraft...and then they've got some lesser-known (at least to me) names.

I've used them for a few years as well. As mentioned above try to stick with name brand parts as returns can be a bit of a pain.
I just bought a set of Monroe quick struts and RA did cover the cost to replace a strut mount stud broken in transit.

They are a parts forwarder, they don't actually have any stock on hand. That's why they can undercut just about everyone else on price. I have had good luck with them so far. Only thing I got that was shady was a thermostat housing they replaced, and a gasket for a timing chain tensioner. For that one they forwarded me to the supplier who covered the cost of purchasing one locally. They seem to be willing to step up to the plate for the customer.

So do you mean part numbers or is the list on the page where you put in your make/model &year accurate enough to order your parts and receive the correct parts i will stick to brands that i know
Unless that is some of you guys could inform me of good alternative brands as being here on australia i don't know whats a good brand alternative here we have ford FORD or you can get your parts from ford or go genuine get my drift
Thanks guys

Stick with Moog suspension parts and you'll be safe

Are the SKP parts any good and what about DURA GO these are the only complete front end kits on RA that i need for now until later so are these company's reputable
Cheers
