The other day my explorer started to kick sound in out on the passenger rear speaker when you hit a bump or something like that as if the speaker only got power when you hit the bump this was with the stock head unit and and stock speakers then i installed a afterwarket radio didnt help and have tried different speaker any other suggestions

my 91eb does the same thing it has a aftermarket head unit, and the factory jbl seperates, going to be digging into it real soon.

bad wire....

sounds to me like a bad wire. Maybe in the door jam, broken wire hit bump wire makes contact. I completely re-wired my 95xlt for sound a few weeks ago. only part of the factory system i used was the ant, power, mem, and ground wires. its not a horrible job to run new speaker wires from the head unit to the speakers.

Nope ended up being that because i had ran a after market radio to the truck that the amp has a short or something so i replaced the amp and the trucks audio was back to great audio quality wouldnt be a wire in the door jam it was on a sport
