Paxton supercharger?

Anybody know if the Paxton Supercharger off a 4.0 ranger will bolt on to the 4.0 SOHC X? thanks

If the ranger is a SOHC it should, but if its a ohv i dont think it will.

Paxtons head units are universal. You would need custom brackets for your SOHC.

cool, thanks, I've been tinkering around with the whole supercharger idea, I think it might be a good long term investment

Unfortunately if you have an SOHC, you are notr going to be able to get that to work. I don't mean to negate husky, but these are not universal. Currently there are not any kits for the SOHC. EE is going to be offering one real soon call John V. at EE for more info. Now if you have an OHV that is a different story.

my understanding is the head unit itself is the same from one kit to another, hense universal. its everything else thats different. I have, in the past purchased only a head unit from paxton.

I agree. There are a couple different kinds of head units but all are pretty much the same. It would still take a VERY long time to get your custom brackets made and get everything to fit correctly.
