PCV valve leaking oil...

Why would the pcv on my 2003 Explorer being leaking oil?

It appers to be secured properly. Reached back and twisted it hard right and it did not move.

It was replaced at 90k and I have 116k on it now.

Replacing mine now (dealer found while doing the cruise control mod) and find it unusual that the valve does not sit in a grommet. Just insert and twist. Ford parts.com diagram seems to confirm this. Might account for all the leaks. I'm going to clean it up and keep an eye on it. Might use sealant if it continues.
