WOW! Perfect write up Off to the Ford parts department I go.
update: (2)Ford dealer $18.99 and they dont stock them...O'Rielys $10.99.
update: All done! THANK YOU TODD Z. for the write up
I was playing around with the old one. Very gunked up. Cleaned it with a few squirts of carb cleaner. Seemed to clear it right up. Just not sure if it does any damage to the plastic or internally. THE COOLANT LINE DOES BEND to slip the valve right off! So maybe next time I will try to find just the valve for a few bucks.
BTW..I looked in my owners manual(download one..they sold it to me with the 2002 manual) and the part number is wrong. It says part EV-243...It is EV-268! No idea why. Again big thanks to Todd Z. and ncranchero.
