Where the coils you removed new?

You really need to replace the harmonic balance. It's not just the timing marks you need to be concerned about. Once the bond between the middle and the outside pieces deteriorates they can come apart and I suppose once the outside part has moved the part is no longer in balance and can't do it job.

The coils i took off were new less than a year ago. Aftermarket from rockauto

I’ve got to figure out what’s going on with these tapers before I can replace the harmonic balancer. I agree it needs to be replaced
