Peformance for 91 EB

I'm a new member and want to learn more about X's. I was wondering what I could drop under the hood to get more rpm's, horsepower, etc. The xplor I have is a 1991 4dr Eddie Baur automatic v6 4.0L. Any info would be great, including price of each thing included. Thanx!

umm....well there are several companies that make a supercharger, you can get a cone intake from KKM or a cone intake with more open intake tubes (not needed if you go S/C) from ifab.net....APTEN chip, jacobs wires, splitfire plugs, eatonposi the rear end........shall i keep going?

are you sure you would want to put a supercharger on an engine that old how many miles do you have on that engine try some cheap mods like intake which is about $120 i would do the chip last in order to get the most out of the price. exhaust, have you tried the gas pedal wire mod cost about the price of two zip ties and 10 minutes. alot of possibilities explore the cheaper ones first.

The chargers they have aren't really worth the price. I say start with a KKM, exhaust, and Apten chip. Next you could do BBK TB, Pro-M MAF, headers (ew), then some internal work. If it was me, I'd do a swap, before I chose the supercharger.
