Phantom Interior Lights

I was wondering if this is normal, or if it's a sign that something's up. If I'm driving and I stop somewhere, put it in park, and get out, when I open my door the interior lights don't come on. If I open the door, then kill the engine, they come on. If I open the door, get out, close the door, and then open it from the outside, they come on.....they just don't come on initially when I park with the engine running. Has anyone else experienced randomness like this? They operate the way they should at all other times.

Yeah, Ive noticed this too. I just pass it off and dont worry about it
