Okay this may be trivial but just curious if any experienced forum folks can help. We've had the explorer for three weeks and it's absolutely awesome.
The first two weeks I do not recall alot of noise in the background on the phone calls the wife made to me from the car. This past week it seems very noise and airy when she calls from the car...I didn't tell her and thought it was me but tonight she calls me and asks if I can hear her. she had two people tell her they couldn't hear her on the calls tonight in the explorer.
I wouldn't think the microphone in the car would get worse because we think it worked really well the first few weeks..we don't recall any noise but now it seems like that's all we hear and obviously others are hearing it also.
Does anyone know where the microphone is located and secondly any advice? I don't want to overreact but it's my wife's ride and she is on the phone for business constantly and would like it a little clearer than the past week...
I wanted to start here before going to a dealer...I have a feeling they will laugh taking a car in for a phone microphone issue...I'm sure they wish they could just work on car issues now and not all this tech stuff...
Any help is appreciated.
