Pic of my roof lights. MANY PICS>

Where/How did you run the wiring? Did you have to cut or drill the roof or anything? Reason I'm asking is I ran mine down the passenger side door seals, but when I was up in the snow it started leaking.

I ran it through the track on the roof and down through the roof. You cant even tell there is wire. So Yes, i did drill and i sealed it all up with black sillicone.

they look saweet! the chrome and the red is a perfect combo

Thanks Kelli

Hokie and mhn Ill keep that in mind. Hokie will get his pics very very soon..

So when you gonna come wheelin with us man? First Snow we get im headin down to Lebenon- so pay attention to the weather.

Ive been wanting to put lights in my roof rack like that for a while.. where did you drill down through? (the actual roof rack?) Maybe we can get together (and wheel:D ) during winter brake so i can see how you did it.

BTW- thats the first time ive ever been stuck with my mods! ;)

Your truck looks awesome dude- we just really gotta get it muddy!

Sk1er17 we really gotta go wheelin. Got a little bit of time on the break but im getting my tonsulles pulled. That wont stop me though!!! I drilled through the factory track that aer on the roof. They run Parallel from each other. There is a little cap in the front of them. I just pulled that cap up and made the hole there. Than covered the wires up with the cap again. The hole i drilled has one of those circular inserts to run the wire through. Ill take pictures tomorrow its to dark now.

PS: I hope im not sitting in water like that. I am yet to get stuck. Knock on my computer desk..:D

Heres the pictures of where i ran the wires through as requested

I've got brackets made that mount the my lights directly to the roof rack but require no drilling. If you look at the factory roof rack cross rails, underneath, where the rail meets the plastic 'risers' there are 2 screws per side mounting the metal crossbars to the plastic risers. I made some brackets that use these screws and hold the lights infront of the cross rail.

I had an extra set made, but I used one of the brackets to mount my cb antenna to the rear roof rack cross rail, (mounting the same way but I drilled through the roof rack rail and used bolts instead of sheet metal screws) so I've only got 1 extra bracket laying around right now

oem for what?? a sport? sorry but they look very nice!!

And a bigger shot to see the overall effect and so you can see how my CB antenna is mounted using the same bracket (the antenna has the VT flag attached to it)
