i installed my subs and amp to my factory head unit using a line out converter. I ran speaker wire directly from my rear speakers to the line out converter. For the remote turn on wire from the amp, I tapped into the yellow wire (wich I believe to be the power antenna wire.) Everything works, everything powers up...but I seem to be picking up A LOT of engine noise...almost sounds like a buzzing sound...and the audio quality isnt the greatest.

Whats my problem? Any suggestions?

Is there a gain control on the "line out" converter that you can turn down?

did you try a ground loop isolator in the line between the head unit to the amp?

how close is your amp to your computer?

Try grounding amp to a factory ground...
