Intake in one from ebay that I modded to fit my own

Exhaust was done at a friends shop. This saturday I am going back to finish off all the welds and grind them all down to a nice polish

From what i can see, it looks like a piece of heavy-duty strap metal. (I'm guessing) it's bolted to an existing hole in the front of the engine bay and bolted to one of the adapter bolts.
You could do the same on yours, and if you don't have this common hole i'm sure there's something (a hole or existing bolt) below the filter that you could put a piece of strap metal into.

damn sorry I didnt mention that. its the 50 series flowmaster 2.25 inch piping .


As for how the muffler sounds, it doesnt get too loud until I get on it which is what exactly what I wanted. I do a lot of highway driving and the exhaust is almost silent on there once I get to my cruise speed



wishkah, its the metal strap that came with my pioneer cd player to strap it to the frame. This is some heavy duty metal, I was suprised. And I didnt mount it into an existing hole, I just used two tapcon screws

When mounting the metal strap to one of the bolts on the adapter make sure to use a lock washer in there to make sure nothing moves around. The last thing I wanted was my filter falling down and the intake tube hitting something that it shouldnt hit

^ This pic you can see just how poorly the adapter off ebay is made. As if the holes not lining up correctly with the MAS was bad enough, the adapter is also a lot bigger in size than the mas. For $24 bucks shipped and maybe 1 hour of my time, I cant complain TOO much.
