Well, I finally scanned my pictures of my red calipers. So far I only have one pic up on my home page (page 3) but I am working right not on putting a couple more up. They should be up very shortly. Let me know what you think about it :)

Thanks

Looks great. Might have to invest in some R's and caliper paint......

nice job. i think jimabena74 has his painted red too. he had them blasted first.

Uhhhh....that's not paint on your rotors is it??? I hope it's just a reflection off the chrome onto the rotors!!

paint on the rotors wont hurt anything. it'll just wear off.

Hey...yes that is paint on my rotors. I took that pic right after I got the wheel back on. All the paint wore off the very next day (probably in the first 5 minutes of driving. It looks cleaner without the paint on the rotors obviously but I don't have any newer pics as of yet. This morning I posted another pic of them on my homepage -page 3 again. This picture a side view of the whole truck

what kind of paint did you use?>

I used Caliper Paint. I got mine at a local auto shop but I've seen it at Pep Boys or VIP...or both. They're usually about $5-8 dollars a can. I'd get two if you want to do multiple coats to get a good shine :)

you should paint your speed grille or grille. it looks awkward on there compared to the one on my 96 xlt with the newly painted black grille. i only have pics of what it used to look like. now...about 2X as better. just a suggestion not a rip. but ya speedgrilles are nice so it still looks better than a billet IMO

ESPNfreak....I have been thinking exactly what you are. Ilike the looks of the speed grille but as soon as I put it on I knew it didn't look as good as it could. The grille does look kinda strange with the two different dull silver/grey colors. So, am I correct that you painted your grille black to match the rest of the truck? I was trying to decide if I should paint the grille metallic grey to match my truck or if I should try to paing the speed grille chrome....or both? What do you think would look best? Could you tell me how you painted your grille? I wouldn't know how to go about painting either, that's what I'm worried about.

Let me know when you get some pics up, I'd love to see it :)

Thanks,
Curtis
