Piece of junk Dorman Thermostat housing

I put this on a year and half ago and it's been leaking for months. I could never find the leak however. It became so bad that i took it to a shop thinking it was the water pump. What a piece of junk from China. Also new website format is horrible and ads are really annoying.

Eh, the new website is okay once you get used to it. As far as the Infolink ads, yes they are annoying. You can pony up the $20 and become an Elite member to avoid them, or go into the Infolink options and Opt Out, though you apparently need to do this periodically. I imagine if you don't stay logged in you may need to Opt Out each time you visit.

I find that pretty much all Dorman products suck, but sometimes there's no alternative.

+3. When there's no alternative, Dorman/Help is a "crap" shoot at best. If it's not too late, consider the RH144 upgrade linked below. Seems the OEM replacement housings are much improved with very few reported failures, if any. Also use the OEM replacement sensors to assure proper fit and torque both housings to the recommended 89 inch lb. (7-8 ft.lb.) torque spec.
