Pilot 55W Fog Lights

Is there anyway to tone these lights down. They way to bright!

What's the problem?? Are people flashing you all the time on the road? If they are, you may have the lights aimed too high, mounted too high on the truck, or a combination of both. If they really are a fog beam pattern light, and not a driving pattern light, then they should be mounted low and aimed low to illuminate the road in front of the truck, not down the road.

If all that fails, you might be able to find a Pilot 35W bulbs to replace the 55W.

Give us some more info to make sure we are addressing the right problem.

It's really my dad. He thinks they give off to much glare. The are mounted in the center bumper opening. I aimed them low, I think. What I am trying to do is have daytime running lights. I am going to look for 35W bulbs.

I couldn't find 35w bulbs. I aimed them lower. For now I have a relay setup so that they go off when the headlights come on.

I don't think there should be a problem if you are using them for daytime running lights. Why not just turn your headlights on during the day and use your fogs at night when you might need them?? If your dad is like my dad, anything more than the stock headlights is too bright to have. I think you'll be fine if you aimed them a little lower.

I had a habit of leaving my lights in my last car. I live in Arizona, we don't have a lot of fog.
