i have a 94 ranger with the 4.0 today it decided to start pinging under a load doesnt do it at itle or with cluch in only when under a load and i dnt get it.
is it pinging or more of a ticking sound? if it's ticking, then its most likely just worn-out lifters. which is annoying, albeit harmless to your truck.
