Plastic Heater Control Valve

Guys,does anyone make a metal Heater control Valve for my 95 XLT? I`m tired
of changing these cheap plastic valves when they crack.Happened twice in 2 years. Especially broke down along the highway when all my coolant has pumped out. Thanks.

How you would feel about putting 2 back to back brass hose barbs connected by a coupling and just have it on all the time ? Beats leaking coolant.

Check out ebay item # 200464464163. I think it has more metal than most. Cheap too. He has a bunch of them.
