plastic pieces under doors

i have a 96 xlt 4 door and i took off the plastic pieces under the doors. (the ones that run about the whole length of the vehicle) now i have holes where the rivets and stuff were. will the plastic molding from a 97 (im not sure what year they refined the plastic molding under the door, it looks a little skinnier) fit my 96?? if so will i have to drill new holes or will it fit in the stock location? finally where can i get these things (trying to avoid the dealership b/c they suck)

The newer ones should fit.....What did you do with the old ones?
