Plastic pieces under headrest

Trying to remove the upper leather piece (back portion) of the drivers seat. With the headrest out, there are two plastic pieces that seem to be keeping the leather cover from coming off. Anyone know how to remove these?

Hmmm..so do I need to pull the leather portion up to gain access to the bottom of the sleeves?
