is it normal to have any side to side play/movement in the front sway bar (attached to the frame)? i can see where some dirt has accumulated from a back and forth movement of about a quarter inch. it was squeaking and i think the bushing might be going bad. i also think this is the clunk i get sometimes when i accelerate into a corner.
instinct says it is time to replace the bushings and/or tighten up the brackets. am i right?
oh yea, its a 03 XLS 4x4 with 70k on it.
