well , i guess he did if it had play in it,,
how much play did it have, ?
was it really loose or did it take effort to move it ?
was it front or back, ?
does it rattle if you just kind of hit it with your hand ?
if so, try to tighten it, if it is tight , it might be replacement time,,

going to replace tomorrow. reason i checked was cause im getting knocking noise in front passenger side going over bumps. Hope this will fix the problem. Not sure how lose it was friend of mine checked it and said had play in it.
