ok, over the past little while ive been thinking about gettin a playstation in my truck with a vcr, and 5 inch screen installed in a custom fiberglass waterfall console. i want to mold in the screen and playstation in it. now since i know little or nothing about mobile video, i would like to know what parts i need besides a screen, playstation, and vcr, and inverter. another question, can i buy a home vcr and plug it into the inverter?

also, does anybody know anything about emerson video screens. they seem to be very low priced, and since im on a budget, thats a good thing.

thanks!

I know you can hook up a home vcr to the power inverter and it will be fine. You will need 2 power inverters if you want to have ps and vcr hooked up all at once. Also you will need a hu that allows you to hook up a screen. Last you will need to also have the red white yellow outs for your playstation to hook up too. As far as the Emersons go they do seem to be well priced but i have never seen one in action best thing to do is go look at one if its avaliable by you.

okey dokey thank you!
one question tho, when you say i will need red white yellow outs, do i need them on my screen or where do they need to be? or do you mean i just need the cables?

i doubt the screen will have them but mabe your hu might? You need the red white yellow so you can hook up ps so you can have sound and picture. Do this the vcr you put in there make sure they have seperate red white yellow for you to use the ps to hook up too. You will need 2 power inverters to do this though or 1 power inverter with 2 outlets. It will work though cause i have done it with mine.

why thankyou for your help!
