Please help ASAP!!!!!!!

Ok was out wheeling last night and decided to go a little to fast in to a lake crossing and stalled the motor about half way. i got it out with a jeep that was there. the engin is water locked. i pulled the spark plugs and fired it until all the water was out and replaced the spark plugs. i also got a new air filter and changed the oil cause it was horable.

So my question to you guys is what should i do now? i have only ran it for a few minutes. is there any thing else i should check or clean? it would be of great help if you could respond to this quickly cause i really need my X bye tommarrow. thanks for any responces.


O and this really isnt Rippins explorer its his friend that is having the problem. thanks

try searchin it... I know others have hydro locked their motor....

I hydrolocked my engine this summer and I ruined it. Good luck with it. Just thank god that is starts. Basically if it's running, and not making any funny noises, it should be fine.

Are your vent tubes extended?

If not, consider changing your front diff fluid, rear diff fluid, TC fluid, and Tranny fluid.

ok i wasnt really worried about the signiture but thanks for the help on that. i think its gay but what ever. any way i found that the spark plugs just arent dry yet but it is firing and running so i think it should be ok. sorry to the guy that lost his motor. thanks for the replys ill let ya know how its doing in a couple of days.

ok it looks like it is going ot be just fine. we havnt ran it its 500 miles yet but the oil is clean and i think we have passed the worst of it. ill let ya know if the car explodes and catches on fire or some thing. later and thanks to those that replyed.
