I have had a few issues recently, including my air bag light blinking 3,3; my check engine light with a code saying bad sensor bank 2 sensor 1.

Today I noticed a strange noise coming from the rear end. I've always had the loud whining rear end noise at higher speeds but now I have a clicking noise. It sounds like a repetitive nail gun, but not that loud. When the windows are shut I don't hear it, but from outside or with the windows down it is fairly loud. It seems to be random but it is more evident after braking coming out of a turn. It continues for 20 to 30 seconds after braking, sometimes longer, sometimes shorter. As i said, it is random.

Parking brakes

The parking brake shoes fell off in the wheel drum and are making the clicking noise. Order the brake shoes and hardware from RockAuto.com (some $60) and have them replaced (some $200 in any repair shop).
