Please help! I’m getting the death stare

Please help! I’m starting to get the death stare from my wife for constantly researching parts and prices!

Hello everyone, my name is Ray and I’m new to the forum. I personally drive a blacked out 2011 FX4 SCREW on 33’s, but we just purchased a Platinum White XLT for my wife. I have never owned a vehicle that I haven’t customized, so I’m itching to make some changes! Lol The only thing we’ve done so far:
-Weathertech floor moldings throughout,
-Replaced the fabric seat covers with Katskin leather and
-Added Black Explorer letters on the hood.

I am extremely interested in doing some Sport model exterior parts conversions and I have searched the forum for days, but haven’t found the specific guidance I’m looking for. I know people have plasti-dipped and/or painted their chrome lower door moldings, but I’m curious if anyone has completely swapped out the lower door moldings? I can’t be the first one to consider this option??? I am leaning towards the absolute black or carbon inserts, so I’ve been looking at the following:

HB5Z-7820879-DA or HB5Z-7820879-AA
HB5Z-7820878-DA or HB5Z-7820878-AA
FB5Z-7825557-DA or FB5Z-7825557-AA
FB5Z-7825556-DA or FB5Z-7825556-AA

On EBay, I stumbled across some other part numbers on Ebay that look identical to the ones mentioned above, such as: FB53-7820849-B, FB53-7820849-C, FB53-7820848-A

Can someone please help me determine what parts are interchangeable and will work vs which ones to avoid? Lastly, I will reach out to the forum sponsored vendors but I’d be interested in knowing if anyone has been able to pick up these 4 parts for a good price and how much???

Welcome to the Forum Ray.
The parts you show from eBay don't appear on the sites I searched (AutoNation & Fordparts) as being available any longer. They are likely obsolete and may have been replaced by the other parts you listed. This is the site I use most often; 2016-2019 Ford Lower Molding FB5Z-7825557-DA | Auto Nation Ford White Bear Lake.
I don't recall anyone replacing those lower panels.

Thanks for the warm welcome and thanks for sharing that resource! Well I’m glad to hear that at least I didn’t start a thread that was something that’s been talked through a million times in previous posts that I just couldn’t find in my searches. Lol That is interesting to learn those parts may have been discontinued. I did stumble across yet another part number which seems to again be for the same part, which is HB5Z-78101A05. I wonder if that could be a newer version of the same part. I’m just concerned about whether or not the various parts all fit the same. I guess I won’t know unless I just buy and try Lol My wife’s gonna kill me! Well at least I can try to use one of the forum sponsored vendors to get them a lil cheaper. Lol
