When I bought the car, the seller advertised the fog lights as PIAA HIDs. I checked them out when I bought the car and they are unbelievably bright, so I didn't question whether or not they were. It actually wasn't a concern of mine anyway because I had plans to remove them regardless. The seller said he paid well over $400 for them over a year ago. I removed them yesterday and ran a search on Google to see if I could confirm their model number. They most closely match the design of the PIAA 2100 series, but if someone could confirm this, that would be great. The kicker is that the 2100 series is offered in several variations including HID and non-HID. The price difference is incredible... $1000+ for the HIDs and $200 for the cheapest 2100s. Other than the lenses saying PIAA, I don't see any other markings. I plan to sell them, but don't want to cheat myself or someone else.
*NOTES* They appear to be very well constructed. They're very heavy and have glass lenses.
