I just got 2 10" kicker subs with a 600W DEI amp and a crossover. I want to install it with my friend because its gonna cost me around $150 at the shop, but I need help. Where do I go from here, what kind of wires do I need and where exactly do I hook them up to. I have an aftermarket head unit that powers the speakers right now I believe. And I have the factory 6.5" sub in the back, in my 93 EB. Any help would be greately appreciated. Thanks.

to hook up the amp you will need:
rca cables
4 gauge power and ground wire
remote power wire (could be as thin as 18 gauge)
fuse holder
fuse
speaker wire for the subs (12 gauge or better)

also. get a wire harness to bypass the factory amp. it is located behind the plastic panel in the rear on the passenger side. the music will sound much cleaner and can play louder withou distortion. that's all i can think of for now, it's late.

make sure you got a box, hehe. i think what leenjen said jsut about covers it, not sure how much you wanna tackle at the same time but the amp bypass kit is not required for a subwoofer install, you ears would appreciate it though, it will sound much cleaner. if you do do the bypass it will also disable the factory sub (i think) but you wont need it anyways with 2 kicker 10". good luck on the install

thanks a lot guys, i know its late and kind of last minute but thanks... and dont worry i have a box.. hah.

get agreat box cause those subs should hit hard.
