PLEASE HELP!! looking at a 93 eddie bauer!!

Hey fellas,

I'm looking at trading my 95 GTP in on a 93 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer, simple because i don't want the GTP as a winter vehicle while my 96 trans am hibernates . The body is in awesome shape, she doesn't leak anything once i gave her a going over, 4x4 high and low both work. the mileage is about 155k KILOMETERS, so thats about 90k miles, and has every option.

The asking price is about 10,000 CANADIAN but i'll be doing a trade anyways, looks like a few things will be fixed on the Explorer (ie windshield, exhaust, AC recharged) and possibly a couple of other goodies where my GTP is worth a *lil* bit more. My questions are:

what else should i look for in this vehicle?

what are the largest tires you can put the stock rims at stock ride height?


i hope everything goes well i can get this vehicle, because its the style i really like, the leather seats need a lil TLC, is there any products out there to help bring the leather back to its original state?

my leather was in pretty good shape when I got myy limited, so I just use some cheaper stuff to maintain it. It works great, I just used it a few days ago any my leather looks clean and full again. That brand is lexol leather protectant, which can be bought @ any auto store. Basically they all do the same thing, so any pick is fine.

Here is the king of all products though. As with every other zaino product, I hear their leather protectant is amazing, I'll be buying some in a month or so
