PLEASE HELP!!! Need m5r2 4406 swap drive shaft

I did the swap and have been driving it with 2wd for a while and it's awesome but now I went to put in my front driveshaft and it won't fit. I did this swap on a 97 limited. I have a benefit ride this weekend for my best friend that passed away jan 23 in a wheelin accident and I have to get this thing trail ready. Please help. I have a 98 expedition driveshaft from a 4.6 and it's about 1/2" too long what should I do? If I can't find one in time I'm going to cut this one and reweld it shorter but I know it won't be right.

Expedition rear drive shaft will fit the 4406, but you need a f150 front drive 4.6 for the front an a hybrid u-joint from autozone ..dont have the part number though.

Pull it apart at the slip joint, I had the same problem, trim half from each side after removing the dust cap /seal from the female side,
