Here's my question.

Which brakeline do I need to extend/lengthen if I do a SOA or if I'm getting mad articulation. Is it the emergency brakeline, or the line with fluid in it? Where is it located at? How do I extend it? I want to go offroading soon, and am afraid to disconnect my rear sway bar because I don't want to loose my brakes.

I've heard that you can actually just move the bracket down lower that holds the brakelines as opposed to just replacing them with longer ones.

brakeline

If you are going 4" or higher replace the line that has the fluid, it may look alright when sitting level but will be too short if you have alot of flex.

How do I replace it? Take it off and have someone make one?

You can buy extended brake lines from Superlift.

As for the ebrake cable you can buy an extender from Superlift but I read some where on here that were better off buy a longer ebrake cable from and extended for ranger.

Removing the bracket on the hydraulic line can help, but check it at full flex. This should be good for most rear lifts. This allows the hard line to just kinda "hang out" back there above the center of the diff. I have mine loosely tied into place with a wire tie to keep it from getting bent, works great.

Extending the e brake can be a PITA!!! like he said an extended cab Ranger may have what you need

Keep us posted on what you find, I cant help because in order to get the 8.8 e brake cables to work on my BII we actually welder a bracket to my frame and tied a couple cable together with cable clamps....

Thanks. I wish I was Mechanically inclined as some of you on here. Thanks 410.

with my SOA, I really didn't need extended lines for the hydrolic cable, but my e-brake (Mines a sport) is my limiting factor right now. I am sceptical that a longer cable would fix it though. It is way short on my drives side, but long on the passenger, and since it is not hydrolic the tension has a huge amount to do with how it works. If they were both too short then the fix would be simple, a longer line, but right now only the drivers locks up. My ebrake is important because I like to load my limited slip and if it only works on one side, then loading it only works half the time. pretty cool for a sterring brake though:D . I am going to try a 4 door cable as soon as i find one.
Keeo us posted.
