I have a 97 Explorer, 5.0 , 2 wheel drive. I knew I needed the SW5919 Cruise Control handles, Pads, Accidentally bought the SW5928 ( which is for the 98 Explorer's) And I compared them to the original Pads and they are the same and so is the wiring harness. So when I was taking out the old harness, I decide to cut the old harness and pull it out. No problem there and got the new ones installed ( SW5928's) and tighten the horn contacts down and did not over tighten them. So here is the problem, i hooked up the both battery cables and the horn goes off and does not stop until I decided to pull the horn relay.
