Please Help

I have a '97 Sport 4x4, and all ive been hearing is that there is not a lift available. I really want to lift it at least 3 inches, there has to be something. Can someone please help me with this dilemma. Any help would be appreciated.

There is no lift kit available for a '97 Explorer. However, just because there is no kit does not mean it can not be done. Where there's a will, there's a way. If 2" is enough, search the site for the torsion bar lift for the front and use either extended shackles or an add-a-leaf for the back. If you want more, you'll either have to get a Ranger lift kit modified or wait for the new 4" Trailmaster lift kit for '98-'00 Explorers and modify it to fit your truck. Good luck.

thanks alot for the info, thats gonna be really helpful. Now, next question should i wait for trailmaster, or spend the extra bucks and go to a local shop and modify a ranger kit? Thanks Again!
