Please Someone!

I have a '97 Sport, and all ive been hearing is, that there is no lift available for this year. There has to be something, i really want to get it up there, as well as bigger tires.
There has to be something, anyones help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey SinJin,

I see you're relatively new to this site. Welcome. I have good news and I have bad news. First the bad news, there are no pre-manufactured lift kits for the 95-97 Explorers. Dead Link Removed If you do a search on this site for lifts, I think you will find this topic is discussed at great length. I to have a 97 Sport and am quit frustrated at the fact that I cant by a pre-manufactured lift kit for it. Now the good news, there are many competent shops out there that you can take your truck to and have a custom lift built for it. Of course this will no doubt cost quit a bit more. But you CAN get your truck lifted. It's simply a mater of how much you are willing to spend.

Not exactly the answer you were hoping for I'm sure.

thanks alot for the info, thats gonna be really helpful. Now, next question should i wait for trailmaster, or spend the extra bucks and go to a local shop and modify a ranger kit? Hoe lomg till trailmaster amkes one? Thanks Again!

Wait for the Trailmaster lift to come out, then wait for someone to figure out how to adapt it to the 95-97 models. I'm in the same position as you. I have a 97XLT. I did however get to take a good look at the Trailmaster kit at Truck Haven and think that it wouldn't be too hard to modify it for our models. No one but Trialmaster knows when it is going to be available. OH I tried to go to you homepage but your link doesn't seem to work. Dead Link Removed
