ok so i just failed my inspection....:(
i have a power steering leak no biggie i knew about that a lose brake hose again no problem but the big one is my parking brake cable is completely frozen, i search and i cant find anything on here to help. is it just as easy as taking it off and soaking the **** out of it with pb or something or should i replace it either way anyone know of a link to show me how???? thanks of any help the *******s took my sticker and i really need the truck to get back and fourth to work

Aaron (v8boatbuilder) is a good guy to go to on these parking brakes. He knows his stuff. Worst case is you could probably send him a private message if you can't find what you need. :thumbsup:
 






Check and make sure that things are moving back at the wheels. It could be siezed up there from corrosion and not the cable. I had to soak mine with PB blaster they hadn't been used in such a long time.
 






update...

ok so i pulled the rotors off last nite and checked the cables, the cables seem to be fine but the lever in the drum not so good... its just one big rusted piece of crap. after about an hour of PB and the hammer it moves but still dont work right but i ran ouuta light and time so back at it tonight
