I have this strange thing hapening with my 97x. When I accelerate the car many times does not respond(does not accelerate) when I let go the pedal and press it again it it responds. It feels like there is not enough fuel goes through the injector.
I've been to a few auto shops and did a censor check.
Mechanics can't figure what is wrong with it.
Please help if anybody had a problem like that or if anybody have any suggestions.
Thanks.
P.S. One mechanic suggested that I should change an airflow censor.

I think I've found the solution on the other thread. About the MAF cleaning. Thanks

If that doesn't do it and yours is a SOHC have your PCM reflashed per TSB # 99-8-7. It was a pretty common problem on the '97-'98 SOHCs. I had mine done 3 years ago and haven't experienced the hesitation since. Mine was done under the extended 8 years / 80K mile PCM warranty on all '97s.
