plugs and wires

I have a '94 and was wondering if replacing the plugs and wires would increase perfromance or make the engine run better. What brand would you suggest?

Motorcraft double plat plugs and Motorcraft wires.

Plugs and wires should be replaced every 60k miles or when they're damaged.
