- 98 Ford Explorer xlt 4x4
I have 98 explorer xlt 4x4 my transfer case went out last month and bought another one and had it put in but now its stuck in 4 wheel drive I have to unplug the wiring harness to be able to deive it in two wheel drive I tried unpluggin the batter cables to reset it but still whrn I plug the hsrness back in it is in 4X4 when the selector switxh is in auto.
