I was thinking about getting two 12 Polk Audio Speakers and hooking it up to a Kenwood 350 amp. Would that sound good in a explorer.

I have looked in recent posts and haven't seen Polk Audio mentioned to much and mabey thought there would be better?

yeah 2 -12" polk subs will sound good.
they're not popular subwoofers that's why you dont see them much. but they are good. polk is known more for their full range speakers.

Thanks

Thanks I think I am going to order some this week. The guy at the store was trying to talk me into some Blaupunkt speakers but i havent even ever heard of them so i was a little iffy. thanks anyways

Are you talking about the Polk MOMOs? The general consensus on the MOMOs is that there are better speakers for the money.

peace

The Polk MOMOs are nice but not for the price. We carry them at work and I think you could by a better sub for less. I did a 2000 Durango with the MOMO 6 1/2 seperates front and rear and a pair of 12. Nice sounding but not for that price.

Nah I wasnt talking about the MOMOs they were to expensive for my blood. I was just talking about the regualr Polk Audio speakers. The cheaper brand.

The regular one are nice. We had one of the Polk Demo trucks at our DB drag last weekend and that thing just hammers.
