I have a great 92 Sport 4x4, L.S. Auto. I've put about 2K miles on it (has 76K on odometer). It runs very smooth, but seems to have little power on long hills at about 55 mph. It even has to downshift into 2nd to try and maintain speed on hills north of Atlanta. Car has burnt zero oil since I have had it. All fluids are factory spec, and recently changed. New plugs (Motorcraft platinum) and new Motorcraft wires, all new filters. Vacuum is good, about 18 at idle, goes towards zero when hit throttle, and up to 22 when release throttle. Emissions are perfect. It does not miss, nor does anything (smoke, etc) come out of exhaust. Plugs are gapped properly, and are burning very clean. Checked MAF and it was sparkling clean, but I cleaned it anyway. Reprogrammed computer per advice on this thread. I love it but power seems low. Don't want a hot rod, but do want good highway performance. Do I possibly have a sensor, etc causing my problem, or is my performance normal. It does seem better on cooler mornings than on warm (not even hot)85 degree days.
Thanks for any advise.
Harold
