Poor running

Hi

I need some help with a poor running problem - the engine is hunting when first turned on and occasionally when engine is warm and I stop the running feels rough and the hunting returns.

I have so far replaced both lambard/O2 sensors, fuel filter, and added injector cleaner to a full tank of fuel but nothing has fixed the problem.

Can anyone advise what else I can try. Please reply in layman terms cos I am not naturally mechanically minded

Do you have any codes? You should clean the MAF sensor, IAC, throttle body, and the intake. Check for a leaking vacuum hose, and leaking intake manifold gaskets.

Sounds like a Mass Air Flow problem. Try cleaning it with some MAF cleaner from the local Auto Zone.
