poppin sound at high rpm.... help

alright guys been a min since i been on here... my bad... lemme know if any of you guys had this problem... when im driving sometimes when im on a slight load, but mostly when im passing.... right as shes about to shift into the next gear high rpm it "pops" almost sounds like a 2 stroke. and it kinda studders. i immediatly thought it was a missfire. nothing outta the ordinary. no lose wires. plugs are all fairly new. screamin demon coil. 11mm jba wires. not a clue whats causing this.... it almost feel like its hitting the rev limiter but it isnt.
what do you guys think? any imput would be great
