Possible coil swap??

Hey I have a question, 410 i'm hoping you chime. Anyway I was browsing the ranger station since they are very close relatives of the explorer. I found this artical about swapping f-150 coils into a BII and was wondering what the differences are between the explorer and the BII coils and buckets. Could this be done on an explorer? If you could do this how much difference is there between the explorer coils and the f-150 coils. And yes I totally understand that they would be stiffer than the explorers coils...just curious.

The B2 and Explorer should share the same coil buckets.

I'll keep it in mind. I might if I can gather up some axle brackets. How much longer are the f-150 coils than the explorers? Thanks for answering, i was kinda curious if they would work!
