Got a 94 XLT 4X4 135,000 plus on it, had it about a month now. Earlier today when i went to start it, all it did was click. Tried again and nothing at all. Happened a few more times, nothing. I waited a minute, wiggled the key in the ignition a bit, it finally did start normal. A couple of things, when I finally started it, I noticed the time on the clock radio was back at 12 o'clock, like if you disconnect then reconnect the battery terminals. Also the ignition switch, without the key you can spin it around endlessly without the key. Is this a one time thing or am I going to have to replace this soon? Thanks.
Problem solved. It happened again today, but all I did was clean the battery terminals. Haven't had the problem come back up. If anything happens again yu'll see another edit here.
