possible lift for a 99 xlt

i am looking for a 2" lift for my 99 xlt so i have more clearance for a set of 30x9.5R15 [EMAILexplorerman992003@yahoo.com[/EMAIL]

No lift is necessary for that size tire.

is there a leveling kit for the 99 xlt then? because the back end is lower than the front end.

Search for add-a-leafs or warrior shackles. Both will give you about 1 1/2" of lift back there. I'd get the shackles over the aals.

wouldn't a set of new Lt shocks do the same? cause i think the shocks are blown.

eplorerman, becareful what u start. this is very addictive. first the TT and shakle, then the body lift, then the bigger tires.........it never ends. turn around before u get suck into.

the two major things i want to do to my 99 xlt is tires and get the stupid thing level. i had a major prob the other day, trying to get somewere my 02 ranger xlt had no clearance probs in the back.

Long Travel shocks will give you no height.

You need to look into shackles or AAL's like stated above. After that you can get new shocks if yours are blown, but if you get LT shocks and keep your stock springs all you are doing is wasting your money, you will not get all that travel on stock springs. Get you a set of LT Deaver or national springs with 2 more inches of lift so it will even out your truck. Cycle your rear then decide on what length shock you will need, if you will need all that travel
