Possible to find service history by VIN?

I bought my Mountaineer with ~80K on the clock, and now it's about to hit ~140,000 miles.

And so I'm curious about it's previous history, if it's had timing chain work, etc.

Any way to find this info?

It might be possible to get limited information, but on this site we don't allow car fax. Besides, it's not always accurate since it will only report accidents which were filed.
