Possible Upgrades: Suggestions???

Hello all,

I am new to this forum but am glad I found others who are dedicated to their new Explorers. I have an 06 Eddie Bauer V8 and have installed a MagnaFlow catback exhaust system, KKM intake, and an X-Cal 2 (91 performace tune). At this point, there is not much else to do that is within reason (read: bolt-on).

Any suggestions? I am thinking of headers (kit - when available), TBI spacer (again, when available), turbo (???), or nitrous.

P.S. This thing will smoke stock Mustang GT's. Quite humiliating, actually!

I love turbos on smaller engines, drove a Volvo V70 T for a few yrs., was nice. But on the V8 4.6 I would prefer a compressor unit or a blower w/ headers, because max.performance is reached at lower revs than on the "low-volume"-engines that need the revs for performance. Maybe other heads ? Big-bore ? No clue...

( Like I use to say : you cannot replace volume - except with more volume )

Anyone have any idea where/when we will be able to find headers.... much less any other performance upgrade for our '06s?

Come to think of it, maybe we should get a sticky going that lists ALL performance upgrades we find, links to stores, capsule reviews, etc.... sounds like it would make the scavenging a lot easier if we do it as a group...

I've read around that some mustange parts may work. Has anybody comfirmed this yet?
