Possibly First GT-40P 97 Explorer

Let me start by saying it is likely not the first. The reason I think it maybe is because it was manufactured 11/26/1996. Is it possible it is one of the first with GT-40P heads? I know that in 12/96 they started the 97.5 so the close date seems like it maybe possible. I would also like to confirm that it is a GT-40P head if someone can confirm this. It has the external EGR similar to MountaineerGreens write up on the TMH How To. I have tried to identify the bars but I can not see them with all of the accessories. Any help would be appreciated.

Also, I am not saying it is a fact, I am just saying that it could be one of the early explorers with the P head. If it does indeed have the P heads on it.

look for GTP by the head bolt on the pass front spark plug

Since it has an external EGR it has the P heads.

I checked it earlier and it is a P head. Now it is time to get some TMHs
